SUPPORT OUR PROGRAM FOR BUFFSCI STUDENTS

We’ve partnered with BuffSci Elementary, Middle, and High School, a charter school / nonprofit dedicated to ending generational poverty through free STEM education. Just as BuffSci opens doors to high-paying STEM jobs for underserved students, we’re on a mission to provide free athletic development to their students, breaking financial barriers and creating opportunities they might not otherwise have. And we are looking for donations and sponsors to help bring this goal to reality.
Deleon Alford, founder of AAD, and his wife/partner Amanda Alford, grew up on Buffalo’s East Side. They know firsthand the struggles many families face, having missed out on similar programs due to financial hardships. They’ve turned that experience into a passion for giving back, offering kids not only a chance to improve their basketball skills but also the chance to connect with positive role models.
Make a donation
Help a BuffSci student take the next step—on and off the court. Many young athletes want coaching, confidence, and a safe place to grow, but cost can be a barrier for families.
Your gift changes that. Every $25 donation funds one free, 1-hour basketball development session for a Buff Sci student through Alford Athletic Development—covering skilled coaching, gym time, and equipment. That’s one hour of focused learning, teamwork, and encouragement a student might not get otherwise.
Picture a fourth grader nailing their first layup, high-fiving teammates, and walking out a little taller. That’s the impact you create with $25.
Donate today and sponsor a session—one student, one hour, one meaningful boost.
